It has been a quite a while and though I tried hard, it was not easy  for me to balance blogging and work. Wish I had many hands ..Oh No…that would have created more problems too..Let me be what I am, an ordinary human being with a golden heart:)

I want to write a lot about the things happening in our society. Recently a love story ended in a tragedy . It will beat any cinema story because there  are a lot of twists  and turns which no script writer can ever think of….

A girl from a upper caste  fell in love and married a dalit boy and their happiness was short -lived when  they were hounded by the fanatics and politicians resulting in girls father committing suicide. many houses were  torched  where the couple lived and they were harassed to the core to settle some scores..

Then one day the girl left the boy stating that she considers herself responsible for father’s death and do not want the whole village to suffer because of her . A desperate and dejected husband was recently found  dead near the railway line . Is that murder or did he choose to end his life? that would remain an unanswered question.

In interior part of the State caste divisions and fights among different community are very common. I was shocked to learn that a double tumbler system exists in many tea shops.  That means coffee is served to upper caste in one set of containers and another set  separately maintained for the lower cast ones…

Will We ever Change?

Independence Day Greeting to All

I love my India..Yeh Mera India..

I live bang opposite to a school and I felt so happy today when I saw school students clad in uniform saluting the flag when it was being hoisted. My heart swelled with pride..This is an important day for us.

When we were in school candies; the orange , yellow and white ones  from the Parry’s square tins were distributed after the flag hosting ceremony was over. How sweet those memories are. We used to wait for our turn patiently and just loved the day.Was it for sweet or for the Desh Bakhti I ran to school I do not know. But that definitely helped in sowing the seeds of  loving my country which  has no parallel anywhere with its  rich values and cultural  heritage.

Independence Day Greetings.

Happy Independence day greetings.  to all my dear friends. I am proud that I was born in a country which was free from the Imperialistic rule. Great salute to all the souls who fought for the freedom of this country.

Hope we would be also FREE from corruption , scams , child abuses ,molestation and rape of women . Freedom means living and letting live others without depriving their rights. Hope we would see a day  where millions of under privileged would get at least one square meal a day.Freedom from Starvation , the greatest bane in our country.

What Have My Children done?

“What have my children done”? wails the mother repeatedly who has lost two of her children in the recent Pune blast. What else would she do otherwise? Her whole world has crashed down. It has become dark. Will the parents find light at all in their lives again.

Bearing and bringing up and seeing them well settled in life is any parents wish. As per the NDTV list 9 precious lives are lost. Now what do their families do? What is left for them? When I was watching the TV my eyes were moist. I think any person in flesh and blood would have felt that. It still chokes me. All the dreams and aspirations of the family was shattered just in a moment. The youngsters would have never even imagined in their wildest of their dreams that they were embarking on their last journey.

Life has become so insecure. Not sure whether somebody would return home if one ventures out. It could be anybody’s child, Yours or mine but imagine the loss of the family. Nothing could bring back the happiness to them again in their life. Rest of their life they would have to pass through agony and trauma.

Like this how many times we have lost our young citizens? what have they done? Will the perpetrators of terrorism and killings give a thought to this?. I know this will not have any effect, as for them blood and relationship has no meaning. They are brain washed , desensitized to carry on with the work , God knows for what.

Security has to be tightened no doubt, in spite of repeated attacks the steps taken by the Government are inadequate. We get so much involved in our trivial internal problems, the country’s security is the price we pay for causing the loss of innocents. Will everyone wake up from the slumber?. Instead of petty fighting let’s stand united and work together forgetting caste, creed, religion and rise above the political divide to save the country from negative influences.

My heart felt prayers to those who have lost their lives in Pune blast and hope God gives their kith and kin enough strength during these most difficult times.
