Last leg of our tour started  on the fourth day  and we wanted to see and complete as many sites as possible on that day.

We set out early and could see 3-4  temples which we could  not visit earlier. After that we visited the Basilica of Bom Jesus and were mesmerised by the interiors . From outside it appears like an old worn  out building which has with stood the vagaries of nature . This Basilica is visited by thousands of tourists as it houses the relics of St. Francis Xavier.  Prayers are still conducted in this church and it houses a museum  on the first floor. A must see for any tourist.

Opposite to this Basilica is the museum and here history of Goa is etched well and it houses a church on the ground floor with intricate carving on the walls and ceiling.

Then we visited beaches, Dona Paula which offered us an enchanting view of the sea and the port . The other beaches we saw were Colva, and Miramar.

Though we enjoyed the trip the summer was draining our energy fast and I think the best time to visit Goa

would be September – February.

The things I liked about Goa. Goa is blessed with beaches and beautiful greenery and is surrounded  hills. Roads are excellent and civic authorities also see to that no litter is strewn around. This is in fact really a praise worthy thing as this place is always flooded with tourists.

Make a trip to Goa , enjoy, relax and make it a memorable one. Hope you enjoyed my narration.
